On September 18, 2022, a group of 42 people consisting of pastors, head of services and their spouses from Hanika/EAR Shyogwe Diocese visited EAR, Karongi Missionary Diocese.

Today, August 20, 2022, the Bishop of the Anglican Church of Rwanda, Shyogwe Diocese visited Tambwe Parish, Hanika Archdeaconry.

EAR Shyogwe Diocese was established on 09/08/1992, starting with 13 Parishes. Now it has thirty-eight (38) Parishes and five (5) Dioceses, with 27,000 Christians distributed in three Districts: Kamonyi, Muhanga, Ruhango, and Nyanza, in the Southern Province of Rwanda. Its first bishop was Samuel MUSABYIMANA who led it from 1992 to 1994.

Today, August 18, 2022, the parish leaders of Hanika Archdeaconry, Shyogwe Diocese, gathered in their ordinary working meeting.

The Anglican Church of Rwanda is growing! The House of Bishops of the Anglican Church of Rwanda convened in EAR Kigali Diocese, on Wednesday, March 30, 2022, elected Archdeacon HABIMFURA Vincent as the first Bishop of Nyaruguru Diocese (Nyaruguru District, Southern Province of Rwanda). The new diocese was established as part of an expanding evangelism in the Nyaruguru area. The public may ask who Bishop Elect Vincent is. 

Today, August 7, 2022, the Diocesan Council meeting was held at the Head office of the Anglican Church of Rwanda, Shyogwe Diocese.
