SHYOGWE ARCHDEACONRY: PASTORAL VISIT TO MUTARA PARISH

Today, June 18th, 2023, Archdeacon Joseph visited Mutara Parish, which is one of the eight parishes of Shyogwe Archdeaconry.
Mutara is located in the Southern Province, Ruhango District. Arch. Joseph was accompanied by Rev. Narcisse MUNYARUGAMBA, the Principal of Shyogwe Church District and Rev. MUTIMURA Jean Berchimas, the Principal of Gahogo Church District. They were welcomed by Rev. Joseph IYAKAREMYE and Christians who had come from different corners of the Parish. 
In his sermon, Arch. Joseph used the Word of God found in Genesis 18:1-15. His message was centered on verse 14: “I will return to you at the appointed time next year, and Sarah will have a son.” From this verse, Arch. Joseph emphasized three important elements: faith; generosity; perseverance.
Archdeacon Joseph thanked the Christians of Mutara Parish for the work they are doing and promised them cooperation. The day went well and the Christians of Mutara Parish were very happy.
