THE ARCHDEACON OF HANIKA VISITED TAMBWE PARISH

Today, March 20, 2022, I made a pastoral visit to Tambwe Parish (member of Hanika Archdeaconry). I would like to share with you, the joy I had today during the visit.
Tambwe Parish stared on January 06, 2005. It was a chapel of Nyamagana Parish. It started with five chapels: Tambwe, Muhororo, Kayenzi, Nyabitare and Mataba. The parish started with 550 parishioners. The Parish is located in a very remote area. It has its territorial jurisdiction over Ruhango and Mbuye Sectors. After fulfilling the requirements related to the prevention of Covid-19 pandemic, Tambwe chapel was authorized to reopen on March 28, 2021 and Muhororo was opened later on October 14, 2021. Today, I was touched by the love Christians of Tambwe showed me. They gave me a stick and a sheep to show me their pride in having me as their Pastor. Below are some photos taken.
